An Irresistable Shadow Kirsten S Blacketer

Please welcome Kirsten S Blacketer to my blog today :) I love helping out authors this way. I promise that I'll start doing more than pimping my friends' books, but can't help if they're so awesome ;) Her release, An Irresistible Shadow, is here. First, some cover love, shall we?

After you've feasted your eyes on that sword, then come on down for the blurb and get an idea what it's all about.

Short Blurb:
Trust is more valuable than gold in a world where traitors conspire, and Lady Evelyn realizes that even shadows demand payment.

Long Blurb:
Lady Evelyn Montgomery, only daughter of the Baron of Rayne, detests the thought of marriage. She will never allow a man to control her.  Crushed by the constraints of propriety, she steals away from the safety of the keep and stumbles onto a plot designed to stir up trouble between England and Scotland. When a mysterious hooded man saves her, she fights her attraction to him as they join forces to hunt down a traitor and save her father. But can she save her heart?
Gabriel is a Shadow Guardian. Hiding beneath his black cowl and blending into the night, he is sworn to protect the Baron's daughter. The spirited Lady Evelyn is far from the delicate flower he anticipated. She makes herself crystal clear, no man will possess her. Can he prove to her that love can be more than just possession? Or will the traitor they seek tear them apart forever?

And of course, we have the official bio:

Kirsten S. Blacketer is a stay at home mother of two energetic children and a Brittany Spaniel.  A proud U.S. Air Force Wife, she spends a majority of her time with her family, going where the military sends them.  She is an avid romance reader.  The countless stories floating around her head fill notebooks stashed in her bookcase next to books of her handwritten poetry.  Drawn to male beauty, nothing entices or entrances her like horses and handsome men in cravats (or a uniform).  When she’s not lost in a universe of words, Kirsten enjoys photography, horseback riding, gardening, and rollercoasters.  Her husband is her daily inspiration and constant support.
Her passion for writing sparked in eighth grade English, thanks to Mr. Mushrush.  Then it caught fire in high school, in Mr. West’s sophomore English class.   But it was her father’s encouragement that made her push to become the writer she is today.  Surrounding herself with likeminded writers, they fostered her love for writing and helped her reach this monumental goal in her life.

Now come, say hi, and make comments on anything you see here. *peers around* *stage whisper* Ask her something NAUGHTY or embarrassing or funny ;D Let's see what we can get her to reveal that isn't so official! *WEG*

I've been stalling. Guess what she's given us? That's right, a teaser...
Want a little teaser? *grins* Well, I've got one.

"I know what we need," Evelyn declared, feeling exceptionally naughty. "Some of father's scotch whiskey. I shall return." She slipped from the gardens and into the kitchen, making her way to her father's presence chamber. She knew her father was out riding, meeting with the farmers near the village. He made it clear that she should keep away from his whiskey, but she enjoyed sneaking it once in a while. It always emboldened her. Right now, she and Madeline needed a little pick-me-up.
"Good day, my lady," a masculine voice made her jump as she entered the kitchen. She turned.
"Good morrow, Sir Alexander," she smiled. He looked as he did last night. Tall, handsome, confident, but this day there was laughter dancing in his blue eyes. How odd.
"Now that I have seen you, I can say with all honesty that my day will not get any better. So I bid you good eve." He laughed in jest.
Evelyn was stunned. Sir Alexander was laughing and teasing her with lighthearted humor. Madeline was correct in assuming that all was not well with Sir Alexander.

Of course, you're DYING to know where to go get this now, right?? Here ya go!
