I'm sure you get the idea :P Here's the problem this year--I don't know what to write. I have lots of things I SHOULD do. I have two sequels--thriller and sci-fi--that need desperately to be written. However, I so want to write a steam punk and this seems the perfect opportunity. I really have to decide soon. I have to get at least rudimentary research done so I don't get lost on the internet everyday.
Any votes? If I do the sci-fi, I have to continue in seperate program. However, it needs like 70-90k still added, so plenty of wiggle worm. I wrote 64k last year so I'm feeling the pressure to perform. The thriller is also a sequel with a very strong female character lead. In fact, she was so strong, I had to head her off at the pass in the first one.
The steam punk idea... Well I have a gazillion ideas. I also have a horror story and a different sci-fi waiting to be written. It's like being given a dollar in the largest candy shop ever and having to choose 1 thing. LOL
I'm not sure I'm doing nano this year. I'm still trying to decided.
ReplyDeleteNano is what helps me get back into the habit of writing, as I learned last year. Over the year, things start to get in the way. Illness, schedules, children, and even cleaning. I'm pushing to get my fall cleaning in so that house is organized & ready for my neglect! lol If you do, look me up. My ID is Leona Bushman
